If you’re family is anything like mine, the kitchen island is a magnet for paper! Everything from mail to school papers and even random miscellaneous objects collect on my kitchen island every single day! Junk mail goes directly in the recycling bin, but there are other items that I’m not yet ready to deal with.

Even little odds and ends that the kids leave out go in here, and if they’ve forgotten about it at the end of the week, then away they go. I’ll have each family member take care of whatever it is that belongs to them.
