Welcome to my spring home tour: modern transitional. You’ll notice how I’ve sprinkled pops of color throughout.

DINING ROOM

I love to update my home with each season, but it doesn’t have to cost anything. Sometimes I just shop my home and move things around to keep it interesting.

This recycled glass vase is a favorite of mine, and I use it all the time and move it from room to room. I added a couple of yellow forsythia branches and layered it with this gray stripe runner. The light green napkins add another pop of spring color.

I love to use a combo of flowers and greenery, real and faux. This candle adds a pop of coral, which I am loving for the season.

FAMILY ROOM

One easy way to update a sofa is to switch out the pillows or even just the pillow covers. These plaid and floral pillows from Haden Home are favorites for spring.

I like to layer different items on this shelf above the tv. We traveled to Europe a few years ago. These pictures were taken in the spring in Paris. Using the Waterlogue app I transformed them into watercolor art.

I chose these thin white frames with mats so the colors would pop.

This wall was given an update with some newer pieces. I love the rustic look of the console table paired with the modern gold framed mirror. The white lamps keep the overall feeling light and airy.

The art is titled Find a Sunnier Place by Emily Jeffords, a favorite local artist.

I freshened up my fireplace mantle using some accessories I already had. These coral blossom flower stems add the perfect pop of color for spring.

KITCHEN

Lots of natural light flooding this space!

Fresh flowers are my favorite way to bring life and color to a room, especially in my kitchen.  I always pick up some when I’m at my local Trader Joe’s.

A couple of bowls of fruit is always a must! This black and white striped hand towel is another easy update.

This tray has been a game-changer in my kitchen! Read my post on the secret to keeping your kitchen counter clean.
