Welcome to my Kitchen and Dining Room Christmas tour. If you know me, you know I like a less is more approach to decorating. Let’s start in the kitchen.
This kitchen gets a lot of daily use. A few touches of green and a yummy smelling candle is all I need to make my kitchen feel festive.
These green branches on the pendant lights are just cut pieces of faux garland. Fresh garland or branches of greenery from your yard would work just as well.
I spotted these mini wreaths in Target’s dollar section. They are super cute for adding to cabinet doors, the backs of chairs or a small window. I attached the bells and used command hooks to secure to the glass doors.
I love the gold detail on this ivory ribbon.
You can shop for this grosgrain ribbon here.
Here’s a view of the family room from the kitchen and eat-in area. You can read more about my family room Christmas decor in this post.
Next is the dining room where we have everything from informal family meals to large gatherings with family and friends. I like to bring in a little pop of color to this room.
One of my favorite items to add décor to is the light fixture. I love how the ornaments seem to float in the air. They add some sparkle and shine, which I love for the holidays!
One of my best tips for adding décor to a buffet or console is to use a tray. You can switch out items on a mirrored tray like this for any season.
Add a wreath to the window to bring in the green, fresh or faux. I like to add ornaments for sparkle and shine. A simple tied bow completes the look.
My love for silver, gold and white is strong! If you’d like to read more about this dining room, click here.
