I am so excited to share with you my DIY modern Christmas wreath. I’ve had my eye on a couple in stores, but why not try to make my own? I’ll show you step-by-step how to make your own DIY modern Christmas wreath.
Here is my inspiration photo from Kirklands.com. This wreath is included on my list of favorite neutral Christmas decor items you can read about here.
This is a tutorial for a DIY modern fall gold ring wreath I found to help me get stared on my own wreath. I do love this one made by Making Joy and Pretty Things.
2. Use the wire cutters to cut the garland into desired sections and wrap pieces around the ring with floral wire. I positioned mine on the lower half of the ring for a modern look.
3. Use floral tape to cover the wire.
4. Add eucalyptus with hot glue. You could also add other flowers or berries here. Get creative!
5. I used the ribbon and a key ring to create a hanger. Just hot glue a piece of ribbon end-to-end looping it through the key ring and around the wreath.
That’s it! It took me about 20 minutes to create this DIY modern Christmas wreath, and I love how it turned out! Very budget friendly too! Leave me a comment below if you enjoy making Christmas decorations.
