Hello! Fall is just around the corner! Want a little peek into my fall home tour? Let me show you this easy DIY modern fall ring wreath.

I wanted a new fall wreath for my front door, and I see a lot of beautiful wreaths in stores, but they can be quite expensive, and not always the style I’m going for. I was inspired by this modern fall wreath I found on Pinterest and knew I could make my own.

EASY DIY MODERN FALL RING WREATH

Supplies

Wire cutters

Hot glue gun

Floral wire

Hoop – I like the gold for fall!

Stems – I picked out purple dahlias, cream florals and eucalyptus

HOW TO MAKE YOUR MODERN FALL WREATH



1. Lay out all of your supplies on your workspace. Then place your stems where you want them to be on top of your hoop so you have an idea of your layout.
2. Cut the extra off of your leafy stems and flower stems using the wire cutters.
3. Start with one of your leaf branches and place it along the hoop and wrap it with the wire in a couple of different spots so it’s secure.
4. Add another set of leaf branches opposite of that on your hoop and secure it using the wire.
5. Use hot glue to secure the flowers. Start with one in the middle where your two leaf branches meet. It will hide the ends of the branches. Then I added two more of the same flower using hot glue.
6. I left space in between my purple flowers to add a couple of cream flowers using hot glue.

TIP: use hot glue on the ends of your cut flowers to you don’t have wire poking out. It acts as a cushion. See the back of the wreath.

Hang your wreath on your door and stand back to admire. I love how the purple pops against the black. Finish it off with a bow at the top.

Seriously, so easy! This probably took about 20 minutes. My kind of project!
