Need some styling ideas for fall? Here are some easy to replicate ideas. This is a small cabinet in my entry, and just by using items I already had around my home I was able to create four different looks for fall.
Styling tip #1: Use varying heights and shapes. Notice the vase of flowers is the tallest and widest compared to the slender candlesticks. The books with the pumpkin adds the finishing touch.
Styling tip #2: Group items together. Here I have 3 groups of items and then smaller groupings of candleholders and pumpkins on top of the books. Since my top space is smaller, I can get away with using 2 or 3 groupings on top.
Styling tip #3: Use books for added height. Big coffee table books are great for adding height. I also love using greenery or florals when styling for any occasion.
Styling tip #4: Use a mix of materials. Here I have a glass vase, wooden candle sticks, felt flowers and ceramic pumpkins. When you use contrasting materials it keeps it interesting and your eye wants to travel and look over everything.
I hope I’ve been able to share some helpful tips with you! Let me know which look is your favorite!
