No time to do a full on Christmas décor-a-thon at your house? No problem. I have 6 quick and easy ways to make your home festive for Christmas. Here’s another tip, and this one works for me. If I’m not ready to haul out the Christmas tree and the outdoor lights, which is very time consuming, I’ll start with these. You can knock out any of these in just a few minutes.

Ribbon

Ribbon is one of the best ways to make things festive. So many colors and patterns, and don’t think that you have to stick with the traditional red. Last year I used this green velvet ribbon. I plan on switching it up, and I’ll show you once I have it done.

Greenery

Greenery is one of my favorite ways to make things merry around here. I add it to my fireplace mantle and even my pendant lights in the kitchen. Tie a ribbon around it and you’re set!

Mini Wreaths

Last year, I bought these mini wreaths in the Target dollar section and hung them on my glass cabinet doors. Just use a command hook! I love this mini wreath!

Ornaments

If you have a chandelier in your dining room, why not hang some ornaments from it? It really makes the room fun and festive!

Festive Stems

Grab a vase from around your home and add some stems. I always use these red berry stems, but your could also use real or faux greens to bring in some Christmas cheer to any room. It makes a great dining room or coffee table centerpiece.

More Ornaments

Need an idea for your coffee table or console? Take a bowl and fill it with sparkly ornaments and/or pinecones. You could use coordinating colors of ornaments or just one color to make a statement. Tip: I like to use a wooden bowl or tray. It’s a nice contrast to the sparkle. Love this wooden bowl.
